Nets and training

Winter Nets - 2018

Senior Nets

This year the winter nets will commence on Wednesday, February 7th will be at St Bartholomew's School, Newbury RG14 6JP for both junior and senior sections of the club.

The dates and times are as stated alongside.

Junior nets

The junior nets will run every Wednesday commencing on 7th of February until the 18th of April.

Under 11s, 13s and 15s will net from 6pm to 8pm at the St.Bartholomew School sports hall.

The U19s will be netting with the seniors from 8pm to 10pm.

Summer nets

During the season, we use our dual net facilities which were installed only a few years ago. With the bowling machine also available to use (weather permitting), we welcome existing, new and prospective new members to our sessions. Details of the junior and senior net sessions are detailed below:

Junior Nets - Monday evenings from 6.30pm

Our Junior section managers and ECB qualified coaches run various levels of training sessions on Monday evenings at our Northcroft playing fields . For joining details please send us an email and one of the Club's officials will reply.

Senior Nets - Tuesday evenings

Our outdoor net facilities are used by senior team members on Tuesday evenings. The nets are in use typically from end of April until the end of the season.

The senior team members hone their cricketing skills through various levels of practice sessions and can also obtain one-to-one coaching from our qualified coaches.
